Coast Guard Fires on U-Haul Truck at California Base

Shots were fired at Coast Guard Base Alameda in California on Thursday night when a U-Haul truck, driven erratically, ignored commands to stop and attempted to back into the base. Security personnel discharged live fire after determining the vehicle posed a direct threat, but fortunately, no Coast Guard personnel were injured in the incident.
