Seattle man charged with string of burglaries targeting pro athletes

A Seattle man, Earl Enderson Riley IV, has been charged with multiple burglaries targeting high-profile athletes, including Seattle Mariners players Luis Castillo and Julio Rodriguez, from whom he allegedly stole over $200,000 in valuables. Prosecutors claim Riley led a string of burglaries that began in February, with thefts involving luxury items and an attempted burglary at Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez’s home. Currently held on $1 million bail, Riley faces additional charges in a separate case and is set to enter a plea on June 16, with ongoing investigations to identify other suspects involved.
