Seahawks unveil Super Bowl LX championship rings with football pieces and moving parts

The Seattle Seahawks celebrated their Super Bowl LX victory by distributing championship rings to players, coaches, and staff during a private ceremony. The rings, designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, feature intricate details including a diamond-encrusted replica of Lumen Field’s arches, 50 white diamonds representing Seattle’s 50th season, and a piece of game-used football embedded within. The design also includes a removable topper that can serve as a pendant and a button that reveals the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS” when pressed. This marks the Seahawks’ first championship under head coach Mike Macdonald and starting quarterback Sam Darnold. As they prepare for the upcoming season, the Seahawks hold the third-best odds for a repeat Super Bowl win at +1100, following the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills.

Why It Matters

Championship rings have evolved into highly detailed pieces of jewelry that reflect significant achievements in sports. The Seahawks’ ring design continues a trend where teams incorporate unique elements symbolizing their victories, such as game memorabilia and innovative features. This evolution highlights the growing importance of branding and player recognition within professional sports, as teams seek to create lasting symbols of their accomplishments. Additionally, the Seahawks’ recent Super Bowl win adds to their franchise history, which includes a previous championship in 2014, further solidifying their status in NFL history.
