Scots ex-Major General David Hook has been charged with sexual assault, following a decorated military career spanning over 30 years. The 65-year-old retired officer, who received a CBE for his service, faces allegations of assaulting a woman in her 30s in 2016. Hook denies the charges and is set to appear in court later this year.
