Girl died by suicide while walking with father at reservoir

A struggling teenage girl, Qudsiyah Mahmood, 13, took her own life by jumping from a bridge at Baitings Reservoir in West Yorkshire after asking her father to take her there. An inquest revealed she had been grappling with mental health issues, including gender dysphoria, and evidence indicated her death was a suicide, despite initial beliefs of an accidental fall.
