At the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri let Lando Norris pass to win the Sprint race, giving his McLaren teammate a crucial extra point in his championship battle against Max Verstappen. Verstappen finished third but is under investigation for a Virtual Safety Car infringement, cutting Norris’ deficit to Verstappen by two points. Piastri led before allowing Norris to take the lead, with Norris and Verstappen finishing first and third respectively.
