Santa Monica police searching for assault suspect 

Police in Santa Monica are searching for a suspect wanted for an assault that occurred near the 1400 block of Alley 5. The man, described as 25-35 years old with bleached blonde hair, a black beard, and tattoos on both arms, was last seen fleeing barefoot on Santa Monica Boulevard. Authorities are asking anyone with information on the case to contact Detective Sean Baker or Detective Sergeant Chad Goodwin at 310-458-8932.
