California Beach Town Uses AI to Identify Bike Lane Blockers

This spring, Santa Monica will be the first U.S. city to implement an AI system for municipal parking enforcement, targeting bike lane violations. Starting in April, seven parking enforcement vehicles will utilize Hayden AI’s scanning technology, adding to existing cameras on city buses. Charley Territo, Hayden AI’s chief growth officer, emphasized that reducing illegal parking will enhance safety for cyclists.
