A U.S. fugitive, Samuel Ramirez Jr., was captured in Culiacán, Mexico, just over an hour after being added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, setting a record for the shortest arrest time in the list’s history. Ramirez, 33, was wanted for the murders of two women in Federal Way, Washington, in May 2023 and was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. He has been deported back to the U.S. and will face arraignment in King County, Washington, in two weeks.
