The Supreme Court directed the trial court to halt proceedings until the Allahabad high court hears the mosque management committee’s appeal, emphasizing the need for peace and harmony. The court refused to stop the survey but ordered the report to be sealed, while urging the district administration to maintain neutrality and ensure law and order in the area.
