Russian citizen arrested for shooting general in Moscow; detained in Dubai.

A Russian citizen named Lyubomir Korba has been detained in Dubai for the shooting of Lieutenant General Vladimir Alexeyev in Moscow. Korba was arrested with the help of the United Arab Emirates and has been flown back to Russia. Russian investigators believe that Korba was tasked by Ukrainian intelligence to carry out the shooting and have identified two accomplices. The UAE did not provide details on how Korba was detained. Russia launched an attack on several Ukrainian regions overnight with drones and missiles, causing casualties and damage. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced new sanctions in response to the attacks.
