Russian aircraft spotted and tracked flying near Alaska again, NORAD says

Russian military planes were spotted near Alaska’s coast on Tuesday, detected by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which stated that such sightings are common and posed no threat. The aircraft flew through the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), an area monitored for national security, and NORAD confirmed they remained in international airspace.
