Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned Russian attacks on two Ukrainian ports, damaging three Turkish-owned vessels, stating they had no military purpose. The attacks in the Odesa region targeted civilian logistics and commercial shipping, using drones and ballistic missiles, causing limited damage and injuries. Turkiye called for a ceasefire in the Black Sea, while Turkey offered to mediate between Kyiv and Moscow amidst escalating tensions following retaliatory threats from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukraine continues to target Russian tankers as a means to disrupt Moscow’s funding for the ongoing conflict.
