Russian and Iranian leaders are set to discuss expanding cooperation in various sectors such as trade, investment, transport, logistics, and humanitarian efforts, as well as addressing regional and international issues. The agreement is expected to strengthen the military and political partnership between the two nations, with Iran providing drones to Russia during the conflict in Ukraine. Both countries have been moving towards signing a strategic partnership agreement, following similar agreements with North Korea for mutual military support in case of aggression.
