Man Charged with Shooting Policewoman During Standoff in Flat Bush

A 47-year-old man has been charged following a three-hour police standoff in South Auckland, during which a policewoman was shot in the leg. He faces charges for using a firearm against a law enforcement officer, causing grievous bodily harm, and breaching electronically monitored bail, and will appear in Manukau District Court today.
