Royal Marines, using a Wildcat helicopter, executed a remarkable counter-drug operation in the Gulf of Oman, disabling a speedboat carrying over £35 million in narcotics with a single shot to its engine. The operation, involving advanced coordination between crewed and uncrewed aircraft from HMS Lancaster, resulted in the recovery of more than 1½ tonnes of heroin, crystal meth, and hashish.
