The 2025 MLB Tokyo Series between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers will feature native Japanese pitchers Shota Imanaga, Rōki Sasaki, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto starting in the games on March 18 and 19 at the Tokyo Dome. Cubs manager Craig Counsell confirmed that Imanaga will pitch, while Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expects Sasaki and Yamamoto to take the mound as well. Shohei Ohtani is not expected to pitch due to injury, but will play as a designated hitter.
