Police in Hamilton have charged a 21-year-old man with murder following a homicide investigation. Emergency services responded to a call at a Lake Cres address around 6:15 PM on Thursday, where a 55-year-old man, identified as Jason Poa (also known as Jason Tipene), was found dead. Another individual was transported to Waikato Hospital in serious condition. Detective Inspector Daryl Smith confirmed the arrest occurred at a location in Chartwell.
