Rotana al-Raqab and her mother, Huda Abu Abed, were allowed to return to Gaza through the Rafah crossing after being stranded in Egypt. Despite their initial hope of reuniting with family, Rotana and others faced extensive searches and detentions before finally reaching the Palestinian side.
