A 77-year-old retired teacher, Patricia Robertson, has been convicted of abusing 18 girls at Fornethy House, a former residential school in Scotland, from 1969 to 1984. The girls, who were there for short-term respite, suffered force-feeding, humiliation, and physical assaults; Robertson will be sentenced in December.
