Chen Zhi and Qiu Wei Ren, two Chinese men, have been sanctioned by the UK for allegedly running extensive romance scams and fraud schemes that defrauded billions globally, with assets including a £12 million mansion and a £100 million office block in London. The UK, in collaboration with the US, is taking action against this network, which reportedly used forced labor in Cambodia and Myanmar for these operations.
