A cockatoo named Mickey was rescued after being trapped inside a Sydney shopping centre for a month, with a high ceiling making it difficult to capture him safely. Ravi Wasan from Sydney Wildlife Rescue used his licensed cockatoo to lure Mickey down to safety, eventually capturing him in a cage with the help of food and patience. Environment Minister Penny Sharpe and Greg Warren expressed gratitude to the rescue team and volunteers, hoping Mickey will soon be released back into the wild.
