Mech Dara, an independent journalist in Cambodia, was arrested outside Sihanoukville by a large group of military police and plainclothes officers. After being detained for nearly 12 hours, he was taken to Kandal Provincial Prison. The arrest indicates a charge related to his reporting activities in the area.
