The New England Patriots are releasing wide receiver K.J. Osborn, who has played in seven games with seven receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown. Osborn, signed in March after four seasons with the Vikings, has not played since November and is being replaced by rookie kicker John Parker Romo, who made 11 of 12 field-goal attempts for the Vikings this season. The Patriots’ starting kicker remains Joey Slye, according to NFL Network reports.
