Jody Allen to Sell Seahawks After Super Bowl LX
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Super Bowl LX could mark the Seahawks’ final game under the Allen family’s ownership, as Jody Allen plans to sell the team following her brother Paul Allen’s 2018 death. Paul purchased the Seahawks in 1997, and his will stipulates that Jody must sell the franchise and donate the proceeds to charity, which could amount to several billion dollars. The Seahawks are expected to fetch a higher price than the Washington Commanders’ recent sale for $6.05 billion. Jody is also selling the Portland Trail Blazers for $4.25 billion.
