Illinois Coach Thad Ward Moving to Kansas State

Littyville is once again in transition, as Illinois assistant head coach Thad Ward is leaving to return to Kansas State as an associate head coach and receivers coach. Ward previously held the wide receivers position at Kansas State in 2022 and has had two stints with Illinois, under Lovie Smith and Bret Bielema. He is known for popularizing the “Littyville” mantra during his initial time with the team. With 19 wins over the last two seasons, the future remains promising for Bielema’s program.
