Report: Broncos assistant accused of assaulting officer

Broncos outside linebackers coach Michael Wilhoite was arrested and charged with suspicion of second-degree assault of a police officer in Denver. The team is investigating the incident, which allegedly occurred after Wilhoite dropped someone off at the airport. Wilhoite, a former NFL player, joined the Broncos staff in 2023 after stints with the Chargers and Seahawks.
