Israeli military finds remains of Israeli captive in Gaza.

The Israeli military has recovered the remains of Ran Gvili, the last Israeli captive in the Gaza Strip, allowing for the next phase of a ceasefire deal agreed in October to proceed. Hamas has provided details on the location of Gvili’s body for repatriation to Israel, fulfilling the ceasefire agreement brokered by the US. Israel will open the Rafah crossing on a limited basis for the passage of people only, following the return of all hostages from Gaza.
