Reece Walsh lights up Brisbane but concerns over Adam Reynolds as Brisbane down South Sydney 28-18

Brisbane’s young star Reece Walsh outperformed Latrell Mitchell in a 28-18 victory over a mistake-prone South Sydney team. Rabbitohs coach Jason Demetriou criticized his team’s performance as a “horror show.” Walsh scored two tries in front of a crowd of 35,507 fans at Lang Park on Thursday night, with his second coming after a mistake by Mitchell. Broncos captain Adam Reynolds battled through a knee injury before leaving the game in the 70th minute for further assessment. Despite a brief period of success after halftime, the Rabbitohs struggled throughout the match, making fundamental errors and failing to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Walsh’s standout performance helped lead the Broncos to victory, with support from his teammates like Selwyn Cobbo and Kotoni Staggs. The match was challenging and intense, but the Broncos ultimately secured the win.
