Red Cross worker calls for increased aid access in Gaza

Patrick Griffiths of the Red Cross emphasized Israel’s responsibility as the occupying power to meet the needs of Gazans. As he departed Gaza, he expressed hope that the opening of the Rafah crossing would provide Palestinians an opportunity for recovery. However, he stressed that more efforts are needed to support the population effectively.
