Record numbers of families participated in HeartKids’ annual Two Feet & A Heartbeat walk in Perth, raising approximately $120,000 to support those affected by childhood-onset heart disease. The event, attended by around 1,000 people, aims to enhance accessibility to the charity’s services, which assist families of survivors and those grieving losses. HeartKids has been instrumental for families like Tegan Paulo’s, who shared her son Archer’s journey after his heart surgery at four months. The charity, established in 1979, is the only one of its kind in Australia.
