Olivia Kernick, who was dropped from the Jillaroos set-up despite winning the Dally M Medal, is set to return to the Australian Test side after over a year. The 24-year-old back-rower will start in Australia’s one-off Test against England as part of the NRL’s season opener in Las Vegas. Kernick’s omission last year sparked controversy and pressure on former coach Brad Donald, who has since been replaced by Jess Skinner, under whom Kernick has had a positive experience during the Indigenous All Stars camp.

Mid-tier lender Bank of Queensland warns bad loans set to rise
