A game ball from the 2000 NBA Finals, significant for being part of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal’s first championship run with the Los Angeles Lakers, is set to be auctioned at Sotheby’s. This ball is from Game 6, where the Lakers defeated the Indiana Pacers 116–111, with O’Neal scoring 41 points and earning his first Finals MVP. The auction will take place from Nov. 25 to Dec. 11, with expected bids ranging from $300,000 to $500,000. The duo’s partnership ended in 2004, marking the close of their early-2000s dynasty.
