Rams seeking to trade 'highly motivated' Kupp

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been informed that the team is seeking a trade immediately after he expressed his desire to stay in LA. Kupp, who signed a three-year contract extension worth $80.1 million, is set to have a cap hit of $29.8 million next season. The Rams will save $20 million if they trade Kupp post-June 1, but releasing him will result in $22.2 million in dead money.
