A woman in Waikato experienced a terrifying home invasion when Joseph Hohepa Te Huia broke in while she was gaming with headphones on. Unaware she was home, Te Huia, influenced by meth, became paranoid and violent, dragging her across the kitchen floor and threatening her life. Fortunately, police intervened by breaking down a glass door, preventing further harm. The victim now fears the potential outcome had they not arrived in time.
