Baby Found in Parked Car Leads to Emergency Response

Emergency services responded after a baby was found unattended in a car on Eruera St, Rotorua. A woman, who chose to remain anonymous, noticed what she initially thought was a doll in the rear seat while parked nearby. The car’s windows were closed, and no adults were in sight, leading her to believe it wasn’t a real child. She waited around 15 minutes while her husband went inside to buy sushi, remaining in their vehicle with their toddler.
