Australia-born Queen Mary has arrived in the Northern Territory with her husband, King Frederik X, marking the first official visit by a Danish monarch in 40 years. This trip is Queen Mary’s first to Australia since her husband ascended the throne. The royal couple, who met during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, will visit Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park and meet with Aṉangu, the traditional landowners, before continuing their tour across Australia, concluding in Hobart, where the Queen spent her childhood.
