Bondi Beach Shooting: 12 Dead, One Suspect Dead, One Critical

Twelve people have died and 29 others injured in a mass shooting at Bondi Beach, Sydney, during a Jewish community event celebrating the first night of Chanukah. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the attack as an act of “evil anti-Semitism” and labeled it terrorism. Over 1,000 attendees were present at the gathering when the incident occurred. Albanese expressed deep sorrow, stating, “Australians have had their lives cruelly stolen.”
