Putin's Minister Has A Rather Ominous Update On Russia's Relations With China

Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov met with a top Chinese official, deputy chair of the Central Military Commission Zhang Youxia, for “very substantive” military talks in Beijing. Belousov stated that Russia and China share a common understanding of global processes and the current situation, possibly referring to regional conflicts like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and China’s aggression towards Taiwan. The two countries are deepening their strategic partnership, with concerns that their authoritarian alliance could lead to further destabilization in the region.
