Putin apologizes to Azerbaijani leader for 'tragic incident' involving crashed Azerbaijani plane

Russian President Vladimir Putin apologized to Azerbaijani President for a “tragic incident” following the crash of an Azerbaijani airliner in Kazakhstan, killing 38 people. The plane, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed while attempting to land. The Kremlin mentioned air defense systems firing near Grozny due to a Ukrainian drone strike, but did not confirm if it hit the plane.
