The United States conducted over 30 strikes against Islamic State targets in Syria from February 3-12, targeting infrastructure and weapons storage sites, as reported by US Central Command (CENTCOM). These precision strikes, part of Operation Hawkeye Strike initiated in December 2025, followed an earlier round of strikes and have resulted in the death or capture of more than 50 ISIS terrorists. CENTCOM indicated over 100 ISIS infrastructure targets were struck in the last two months. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized the need for a permanent ceasefire during discussions with Syrian officials at the Munich Security Conference.
