Punjab Police cracks down on drug trade, arrests 789 in 4 days, demolishes 60 properties linked to smugglers

Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, in coordination with the Municipal Corporation, demolished an illegal property linked to a drug smuggler, Dharminder, in Jalandhar, who had six NDPS Act cases against him. Another house belonging to a drug smuggler in Master Colony, Mandi Gobindgarh, was also demolished. Punjab authorities, including Fatehgarh Sahib SSP and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, are actively enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against drugs, identifying more houses for similar actions and focusing on drug de-addiction efforts under the Yudh Nashian Virudh campaign.
