Kitchen Worker Sues Pub Over Vinegar Incident

Willer Lafeuillee, a black kitchen porter at The Running Horses pub in Dorking, Surrey, claimed he faced racial discrimination, alleging colleagues placed vinegar bottles near him as a reference to the N-word and served him poorly cooked food. His claims were dismissed by an employment tribunal, which found his allegations vague and lacking evidence. Lafeuillee was terminated for “unprofessional and confrontational” behavior after several incidents, including aggressive outbursts over food service. The tribunal concluded he was treated with consideration and that many allegations stemmed from misinterpretations.
