Protesters across US rally against Donald Trump and Elon Musk

In response to what they see as a “hostile takeover” and attack on American rights, thousands of Americans gathered in more than 1400 “Hands Off!” rallies across all 50 states to protest against US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Organizers of the pro-Democracy movement arranged the demonstrations to show their opposition to perceived threats to American freedoms. In San Francisco, protesters formed a human banner on Ocean Beach as part of the nationwide protests.
