Property prices in Spain hit record highs

The average price of pre-owned homes in Spain has hit a historic high of €2,271 per square metre, with prices rising by 1.5 percent in February. The housing crisis is worsening, with prices surpassing those of the 2007 property bubble. The Balearic Islands are the most expensive region, while Ciudad Real is the cheapest province at €738 per square metre.
