Projet Montréal rejected an opposition motion requiring local approval for pedestrianizing Ste-Catherine St., despite plans to create four car-free plazas along the street. The plazas, to be located at Atwater, near McGill, Concordia, and at the Quartier des spectacles, are part of the Plante administration’s vision for the area.
