Private aerospace startup completes 1st test flight of its orbital launch vehicle

Isar Aerospace, a private European aerospace startup, successfully completed the first test flight of its Spectrum rocket from Norway’s Andøya island. The 28-meter-long two-stage launch vehicle is designed for small and medium satellites. The 30-second flight allowed Isar to validate its Flight Termination System, with the company aiming to gather data and experience for future launches.
