Prison governor guilty of relationship with drug gang boss who bought her £12,000 car

Kerri Pegg, a prison governor described as a ‘rising star’, is facing a jail sentence after being found guilty of misconduct for her relationship with drug dealer Anthony Saunderson. She approved his temporary release without following proper procedures, and evidence of their intimate relationship was found in her office. Pegg’s financial troubles and close connection to Saunderson led to her conviction on two counts of misconduct and one count of possession of criminal property.
