President Trump establishes US Space Academy

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to establish the US Space Academy, the nation’s first institution dedicated to space training, during an event at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. The academy aims to prepare individuals for roles in the US Space Force, NASA, and the civilian flight industry, similar to military academies. A presidential commission led by NASA administrator Jared Isaacman will assist in the academy’s creation. Trump also honored the Artemis II crew with the Congressional Space Medal of Honor.
