The Premier League will introduce semi-automated offside technology for the first time on April 12, after successful testing in the FA Cup. Developed in collaboration with PGMOL and Genius Sports, the system aims to enhance the fan experience and maintain the integrity of the process. Cameras in every stadium will track player movements to assist in making faster offside decisions, with the goal of reducing delays and improving consistency.
